Overview


The Senior Finance Manager plays a crucial role within our finance team, overseeing the daily financial operations of Dycom Industries Inc. This position collaborates closely with the Controller and the finance team.

The Senior Finance Manager is also tasked with liaising across various departments within the organization, gaining comprehensive insights into the operational facets of the business.

A degree in Finance or a related field is preferred.

At a minimum, this role necessitates an advanced understanding of financial practices; proficiency in using computers and standard office equipment; and the capability to read, interpret, input, and analyze financial data.

To succeed in this position, candidates must demonstrate, through training or experience:
- The ability to work safely, independently or as part of a team
- A solid grasp of business concepts and issues
- Effective organization skills to prioritize tasks
- High accuracy and completeness in data handling
- Excellent manual dexterity
- The capability to coordinate activities among team members
- The ability to remain seated at a desk for extended periods

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and lead team members within an assigned area or project
- Review financial reports and tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Develop processes to ensure timely completion of financial tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, vendors, and customers to support assigned projects

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in office technology and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
- Advanced expertise in the relevant financial function
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks
