About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Planner or Project Manager to join our team at Trilon Group. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a critical role in leading unique and fulfilling infrastructure planning efforts across the western United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a wide variety of planning studies, including infrastructure alignment and mode analyses, environmental planning, corridor plans, and active transportation plans.
  • Research and implement innovative best practices related to infrastructure planning and development.
  • Analyze data to provide metrics, measures of success, and planning recommendations.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to a wide range of audiences and prepare well-written technical deliverables.
  • Support our Public Engagement team with virtual and in-person public and stakeholder outreach.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A bachelor's degree in urban planning, transportation planning, or a closely related field (required), master's degree in planning or a similar field (preferred).
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in transportation planning, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience working for or with public agencies, private companies, or non-profit organizations.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to work alone or as a team member.
  • Have experience in research, Geographic Information Systems, data collection and analysis, spreadsheets/databases, and data visualization.
  • Be a strong technical writer and lead the execution of complex written deliverables.
  • Have a level of comfort in the preparation of charts, graphics, and other visuals for inclusion in planning documents and presentation materials.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to audiences orally and in writing.
  • Collaborate effectively with agency staff, public officials, community stakeholders, internal teams, and the public.
