Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and families in diverse healthcare settings. Your expertise and dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse healthcare settings.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Delegate nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using established criteria.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification.
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing licensure.
  • Current Ohio Board of Nursing licensure.
