About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Medical Unit team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients and families in diverse healthcare settings, adhering to the Ohio Board of Nursing standards.
- Delegate nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria outlined in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
- Serve as a resource for other associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
- Successful completion of an Ohio Board of Nursing-approved medication course.
Work Environment:
This role is part of our Medical Unit team, working night shifts with a scheduled 24 hours per week. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
