We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients and families across diverse healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and families, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using established criteria, promoting efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans and goals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse licensure from the State of Ohio.
  • Successful completion of an Ohio Board of Nursing-approved medication course.

Work Environment:

This role is part of our Medical Unit 2 team, working a 36-hour night shift schedule. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are committed to excellence, we encourage you to apply.
