Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at OhioHealth. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse healthcare settings. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery. • Delegate nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using established criteria. • Serve as a resource for other associates, providing guidance and support as needed. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program. • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. • Successful completion of an Ohio Board of Nursing-approved medication course. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
