Position Overview

The Ladders is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our finance department as an Accounting Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to achieving excellence in accounting practices. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will oversee a team responsible for accounts receivable and general accounting functions. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, be adept with computerized accounting systems, and demonstrate the ability to identify issues, gather data, and formulate conclusions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal controls and guidelines for financial transactions and budget development.
  • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to local and federal regulations.
  • Provide management with insights and recommendations regarding financial objectives and policies.
  • Perform financial analyses focusing on capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage the organization’s financial transactions and liabilities while conducting cash flow forecasts.
  • Generate financial reports based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Adhere to established accounting procedures to meet financial goals.
Qualifications:
  • Professional demeanor and strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proven experience in managing an accounting team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the industry or public accounting, with a solid understanding of month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
