Job Overview

The Account Representative will be coached and mentored by their Senior Account Executive on a daily basis to grow revenue and long-term accounts that align with company goals, while maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with the client. This role requires a strong understanding of the security industry and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to identify their needs and provide solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in business development meetings with customers to identify new opportunities and build relationships.
  • Attend networking and social events to promote business relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Support the Senior Account Executive in proposal production and bid qualification processes.
  • Assist with seeking out new customer prospects and identifying potential sales opportunities.
  • Form business relationships with end users, electrical contractors, and vendors to provide solutions and support.
  • Maintain and deepen quality relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term success.
  • Assist the Sr. Account Executive in analyzing territory to identify opportunities to pursue.
  • Participate in marketing and customer events to promote Absco Solutions and build relationships.
  • Accurately configure and price products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Become familiar and trained with Absco's product disciplines to provide expert solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate sales pipeline data in ERP system.
  • Support the account executive in communicating with other departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify and track bid opportunities, assist in bid qualification process and endorse qualified projects to the Sr. Account Executive.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  • Well-organized, responsive, and detail-oriented with superior follow-up skills to ensure timely execution.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to effectively communicate and manage data.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and sense of urgency to drive results and meet goals.
  • Enjoys networking and building lasting relationships to promote business growth.
  • Curious nature and desire to expand knowledge of the security industry to provide expert solutions.
  • Valid State driver's license to travel to client project locations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent to demonstrate a strong foundation in education.
  • Fire, life safety and security and/or electrical industry experience a plus to provide expert solutions.

Regular travel between office locations may be required on occasion.
