About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Accounting and Administration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with agency and program procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidential and accurate client, stakeholder, intern, and volunteer records in agency databases.
  • Analyze incoming invoices and other liabilities to ensure proper coding to applicable grants and programs.
  • Monitor budgets for all government and foundation grants.
  • Work with the finance team to develop and request budget adjustments.
  • Organize the submission of all programmatic-related grant reports.
  • Serve as a backup for depositing agency checks.
  • Perform ad hoc accounting functions in support of agency goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Excel.
