Youth Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team at Smoky Mountain Children's Home. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our youth residents, helping them develop essential life skills and achieve their personal goals.
Job SummaryThis is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a passion for working with children and young people, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our residential staff to create a safe, supportive, and structured environment that enables our youth to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional and practical support to youth residents
- Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation and household chores
- Help youth develop social, emotional, and independent living skills
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all youth at all times
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
