At Smoky Mountain Children's Home, we are seeking a dedicated Caring Youth Support Specialist to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of at-risk youth.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to adolescent youth, while also modeling and encouraging positive attitudes and behaviors. They will help teach social and independent living life skills, including coping mechanisms, and ensure the safety of every youth.

A key aspect of this role is providing daily routines and structure in a home environment, helping youth develop healthy relationships with family and friends, and supervising household chores. The successful candidate will also assist youth in achieving their program plan and permanency goals, as well as plan and supervise social events and activities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with youth and has excellent interpersonal skills with a caring approach. As a member of our team, you will receive two weeks of paid training and meals provided while on duty.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of $14.50 per hour, which increases to $15.00 per hour after 90 days with a favorable performance evaluation. You will also have the opportunity to work up to 27 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our organization.
