Omnicell is a pioneering force in healthcare technology, and we're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes by providing expert support for our pharmacy and supply automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance of Omnicell's electro-mechanical and automation solutions.
  • Regularly communicate with director-level nursing and pharmacy staff and tackle problems of advanced scope.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or a related discipline AND one year of relevant experience; OR Associate's Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline, AND four years of relevant experience; OR seven years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and one year experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices.
  • Coursework in Network Engineering, Robotics, or Electronics.
  • Experience working in a hospital environment.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical devices and Quality Management Systems.
