Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer II to join our team at the City of Columbus. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for administering the activities related to capital improvement projects for our wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contracts and review plans, specifications, project schedules, and costs
  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers addressing technical questions about projects
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and perform other general supervisory tasks as needed
  • Perform moderate to difficult professional engineering work and related duties as required
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid State of Ohio certificate as a registered Professional Engineer
  • One year of professional engineering experience
  • Specialization in the discipline for which appointment is being made may be required for some positions
