POSITION OVERVIEW

The role is pivotal in overseeing the management of designated functions. The primary objective is to ensure that students receive quality education and industry-recognized training that facilitates their transition into full-time employment, further education, or advanced training opportunities. The position entails providing students with tailored and comprehensive case management to monitor their progress, retention, and successful completion of the program. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure that Wellness Services are delivered as outlined in the prescribed guidelines. This role acts as a key liaison between the Center and corporate offices regarding operational activities and compliance with contractual obligations.

Timely and professional responses to requests from the company and regulatory bodies are essential. The position requires the analysis of systems and data, utilizing sound judgment to resolve issues, including policy interpretation and staff decisions. Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and the integrity of student data is paramount.



MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION

This role involves supervising and managing the Student Services Department. The individual will serve as the primary director representing the organization at the operational site.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adhere to all integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring no manipulation of student data, while striving to meet or exceed performance goals set by regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the daily management and direction of Support Services, which includes Social Development, Dorm Life, Recreation, Career Transition Services, Wellness Services, Counseling, Human Resources, and related activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students.
  • Ensure compliance with all approved Human Resources policies, fostering a nondiscriminatory work environment that promotes equal opportunity and treatment.
  • Address staff vacancies promptly and motivate staff to fulfill their job responsibilities effectively.
  • Utilize effective time-management and delegation skills, holding staff accountable for quality work, supporting their career development, and addressing performance issues as necessary.
  • Encourage a collaborative work environment, recognizing staff achievements and proactively addressing performance concerns.
  • Develop beneficial community linkages for education, employment, and training opportunities, promoting a positive image of the organization.
  • Mentor and model the Career Success Standards as required.
  • Provide high-quality supervision and management for the student population, addressing behavior issues promptly and respectfully.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality programs and services, continuously seeking improvement to meet student needs.
  • Communicate ideas and information clearly and concisely, contributing to group efforts with relevant insights.
  • Identify problems, analyze causes, and evaluate solutions before taking action, ensuring follow-up to confirm resolution.
  • Collaborate with staff across all departments to ensure effective supervision and services for students.
  • Accept direction from the Center Director, including temporary assignments to perform responsibilities in other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. A valid in-state teaching certificate is preferred. Previous experience in education or related fields is advantageous.
