Position Overview
The Operations Supervisor for Graduate Medical Education (GME) undertakes a variety of intricate administrative, operational, and strategic responsibilities, particularly in the areas of Budget Oversight and House Staff Recruitment.
Expertise and Compliance
This role demands a thorough understanding of current regulations and impending modifications, ensuring that all employment prerequisites are satisfied for every house staff member.
Collaboration and Coordination
This encompasses, but is not limited to, working closely with Human Resources, Immigration, and various institutional and governmental bodies to guarantee that all state licensure for house staff is obtained, employment visas are processed, and all other employment conditions are met prior to the commencement of house staff duties.
Cross-Functional Support
This position will also provide support for the GME Program Administrator as needed.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Master’s Degree (Preferred)
- A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in GME (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative role (Required)
