Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Ono Hawaiian BBQ. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
- Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in MS Office and other restaurant management software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
