Position Overview:
The Leave Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the confidential administration of Leaves of Absence and disability claims for both Management Represented and Union employees across North America.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire leave process, ensuring transparent and timely updates for employees and management.
- Collaborate closely with Medical and EEOC as necessary, while maintaining comprehensive case records.
- Ensure compliance with Federal FMLA, HIPAA, and various State sick pay regulations.
- Communicate effectively with all relevant parties, including Managers, Employees, and HR teams.
- Facilitate return-to-work processes and manage ADA accommodations as required.

Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in leave management.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian HR compliance requirements, including FMLA and ADA regulations.
- Previous experience in Customer Service or Claims related to Leave of Absence administration and Disability Case Management.

Skills Required:
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and exercising sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
