As a Paralegal Support Specialist at Cenergy International, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality support to our legal team. Your primary responsibilities will include gathering factual information for discovery, coordinating and conducting document searches, and reviewing, organizing, and indexing documents. You will also be responsible for claim and/or subpoena investigation and response, opening and closing matters in our matter management system/database, drafting case summaries, and creating and maintaining databases. Additionally, you will prepare and analyze reports from matter management systems, coordinate with in-house and outside counsel and clients, and perform general paralegal duties. To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of contacts, including outside attorneys, senior management, and business associates. You will also need strong attention to detail, planning and follow-up skills, with the ability to prioritize ongoing tasks as necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills are also essential, including the ability to work well under pressure, facilitate solutions, and meet deadlines and milestones for projects assigned. You will be able to work with general to limited supervision, take initiative, think strategically, and quickly adapt to change. You will also be able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a willingness and ability to assume and take ownership of new tasks and responsibilities. Finally, you will have excellent ability to multi-task and manage a diverse docket and various legal department projects and initiatives. Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Paralegal Certification required (preferably from an ABA-accredited program)
- Ongoing Training (RSO, Systems, Software Programs, OSHA Safety, JJ Keller, etc.)
- Continuous Employment Development and Learning
