Electronics Specialist

At Analogic Corporation, we're seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team. This role involves testing, verifying, calibrating, and troubleshooting high-power and complex medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily evaluations and troubleshooting of complex systems down to the component level.
- Perform testing and adjustments on amplifiers, including power level, bandwidth, linearity, VSWR, coupling, drift testing, settling time adjustments, noise levels, and overload levels to meet customer specifications.
- Maintain and calibrate test stations and associated equipment to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Execute component-level troubleshooting on all assemblies.
- Provide the repair team with all necessary data to ensure accurate repairs.
- Supply the quality acceptance team with detailed summaries of repairs performed and any testing/tuning issues encountered.
- Keep a neat, clean, and orderly workstation.
- Adhere to the company's quality and safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Technical certificate or equivalent, with three years of related experience.
- Proficiency in analog and digital circuit theory, component knowledge (identification and theory), power formulas, filters, op-amp theory, and basic semiconductors.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex and non-complex circuits to the component level, based on theoretical knowledge from education or related experience.
- Competence in reading schematics and understanding the interaction of sub-assemblies.
- Familiarity with digital multi-meters (DMM), oscilloscopes, spectrum & network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and frequency counters.
- Ability to repair products using historical records of similar issues.
- Basic computer skills.
- Preferred experience with high voltage and/or RF.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
