Position Overview:

The Cyber Advisory Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Cyber Advisory Services (CAS) team, contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication and teamwork abilities to provide essential support across various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the CAS team and the firm's Enterprise Cybersecurity division, delivering expert guidance on cybersecurity matters.
  • Promote a culture of innovation while ensuring the continuous professional growth of team members.
  • Oversee compliance and visibility across core and client environments, reinforcing a strong enterprise security framework.
  • Evaluate data security documentation, address compliance inquiries, and assist in the development of cybersecurity metrics.
  • Provide insights on data security review processes, security standards, and best practices for both governmental and commercial sectors.
  • Analyze contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to verify that security requirements are adequately addressed.
  • Engage in regular workshops to enhance understanding of cybersecurity compliance, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and update the Cyber Advisory Knowledge Base to ensure access to current guidance.
  • Generate weekly performance metrics, showcasing key achievements and presenting findings through visual reports.
  • Support data collection for assessments and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and templates.
  • Assist in tracking asset inventories for both on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Understanding of information technology, networking, and enterprise cybersecurity principles.
  • Ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Demonstrated innovative thinking and eagerness to learn within complex technical settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in document management and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Familiarity with metrics tracking and reporting methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cyber governance, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity products and their functionalities.
  • Ability to create insightful data visualizations and reports.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and effective task management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possession of CompTIA Security+ Certification is advantageous.
