**About the Opportunity:**
Care Central VNA & Hospice seeks experienced hospice nurses to join our team. As a Registered Nurse with our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a $10,000 sign-on bonus (prorated for part-time hires).
**Job Summary:**
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of nursing experience in the community within the past six years and a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
You will work under the general direction of the Hospice Director and attending physician/hospice medical director to provide comprehensive care to patients and families, focusing on comfort, health, and symptom management.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, coordinate, and supervise patient/family services according to agency policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, family counseling, pain control, and bedside nursing expertise.
- Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity when interacting with patients, families, and peers.
