Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will provide clinical and technological assistance to electrophysiologists in performing complex invasive electrophysiology studies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist electrophysiologists with procedures in the EP lab, including implanted devices and arrhythmia ablations
  • Provide patient care to electrophysiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of pertinent information related to their procedure
  • Perform arrhythmia ablations, assist in geometric mapping, and implant cardiac devices
  • Assist during electrophysiology procedures as a circulating technologist, scrub technologist, or monitoring technologist
  • Set up and operate equipment safely and properly, recognizing and troubleshooting malfunctions
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field, or successful completion of a Radiological Technologist program
  • One year of related cardiovascular technology work experience, demonstrating attainment of requisite job knowledge and abilities
  • Current licensure as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) through the Washington State Department of Health, and current Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS) as issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
