Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at KCO Resource Management. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, meeting production schedules, and maintaining high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with workplace and government-mandated standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Responsible for maintaining all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all regulatory requirements.
  • Provides direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments, and continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Meet production schedules in order to achieve business goals.
  • Directs adjustments of the manufacturing processes to maintain conformance with standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Analyzes manufacturing data and identifies trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement; identifies and utilizes methods to assure manufacturing processes are more efficient and effective (reducing waste, reducing labor costs, etc).
  • Ensures adherence to GMP, GSP, FSSC practices, and QC policies and procedures, and proper maintenance of equipment.

Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in Food or Beverage Manufacturing Industry required.
  • 5+ years experience leading direct reporting team members is required.
  • Ability to lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage, and retain a large team of hourly associates is required.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management.
  • Strong ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Effective training techniques to diverse audiences.
