Position: Lead Application Security Tester / Source Code Review

This organization has developed an innovative Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) Software as a Service (SaaS) platform known as BlindSPOT, establishing itself as a leader in proactive cybersecurity testing and advisory services.

As the company continues to broaden its influence and amplify its impact, they are in search of a motivated Lead Application Security Tester and Source Code Review expert. This role is ideal for an individual who possesses a deep passion for cybersecurity, extensive expertise, and a forward-thinking perspective, ready to lead initiatives that push the boundaries of what is achievable in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of security testers in a secure facility during standard business hours.
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments of developer workflows and mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Perform thorough source code evaluations to detect security weaknesses that may be exploited in software applications.
  • Execute detailed assessments akin to Red Team operations and compile findings into comprehensive reports for further analysis and action.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as GWAPT, OSCP, CEH, or equivalent credentials.
  • 5-7 years of experience in application security testing and source code analysis.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages and a solid understanding of secure coding practices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail for identifying vulnerabilities.
