The Leidos Spatial Solutions Division is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to fulfill the role of Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for cloud-based applications within a secure environment.

This role offers a significant amount of remote work flexibility, with occasional visits to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the government Information Security Officer to address security concerns related to application suites.
• Partner with DevOps teams to ensure timely collection and analysis of security artifacts.
• Maintain and update deployment documentation for applications hosted in cloud environments.
• Work alongside development teams to uphold XACTA profiles for applications.
• Ensure proper accreditation of applications within the cloud environment.
• Engage in Agile software development practices to foster innovation and enhance custom applications through iterative testing.

Team Collaboration:
• Participate in team discussions to evaluate tickets, ensuring thorough testing and delivery aligned with User Story Acceptance Criteria.

Basic Qualifications:
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in AWS and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with OpenShift AWS hosting platforms.
• Experience with XACTA applications and knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
• Understanding of cloud-based architectures and DevOps methodologies.

Organizational Skills:
• Strong planning and prioritization abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) components and system engineering documentation.
• Proficient in team collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CloudFormation and Lambda functions.
• Knowledge of accreditation processes and cross-domain architectures.
• Familiarity with Engineering Review Boards and Change Management processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and GitLab Software Repository.

Compensation:
• The pay range for this position is between $81,000 and $146,875, reflecting the general guidelines for this job level.
