Position Overview

As a leading Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in capturing and refining the requirements for information security, ensuring their integration into technology products and systems through meticulous security architecture, design, development, and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development teams in designing and enhancing information systems or upgrading existing systems.
  • Conduct thorough product research and support Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to identify optimal security solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of system concepts and assist in translating regulatory and environmental conditions into effective security designs and processes.
  • Support the creation and documentation of Security Architectures, Roadmaps, and investment strategies.
  • Oversee the activities of Senior, Mid, and Junior Cyber Security Engineers, ensuring high-quality outputs.
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 18 years of technical experience is essential. Experience as a Cyber Security Engineer may substitute for a degree.
  • 18 years of experience in government or industry focused on Cyber Security Engineering.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 Level II (IASAE) certification.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and pass a polygraph examination.
Desired Skills:
  • Extensive experience in leading enterprise-level cyber security initiatives, including the architecture, design, development, and configuration of both cloud-based and on-premise systems.
  • Proficiency in engineering Cyber Security solutions utilizing Cloud Technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Experience with structured and unstructured Big Data in Cyber Security solutions.
  • Familiarity with Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies in Cyber Security engineering.

$146,000 - $234,000, reflecting the typical salary range for this role based on experience and other factors.
