Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our Cyber Security team, the Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for capturing and refining essential information security requirements. This role ensures that these requirements are seamlessly integrated into our technology products and systems through strategic security architecture, design, development, and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development teams in designing and enhancing information systems or modernizing legacy systems.
  • Conduct thorough product research and support Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to identify optimal security solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of system concepts and assist in the capability phase of the systems development lifecycle, translating legal and regulatory conditions into effective security designs and processes.
  • Support the creation and documentation of Security Architectures, Roadmaps, and investment strategies.
  • Oversee the activities of Senior, Mid, and Junior Cyber Security Engineers, ensuring high-quality output.
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • A minimum of 18 years of technical experience is required. If the 18 years is specifically in Cyber Security Engineering, it may substitute for a degree.
  • Extensive experience (18 years) in government or industry within Cyber Security Engineering.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 Level II (IASAE) certification.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph examination.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven experience in leading enterprise-level cyber security initiatives, including the architecture, design, development, and configuration of both cloud-based and on-premise systems.
  • Experience in engineering Cyber Security solutions utilizing Cloud Technologies such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Experience in engineering Cyber Security solutions leveraging structured and unstructured Big Data.
  • Experience in engineering Cyber Security solutions using Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Target Salary Range:

$146,000 - $234,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
