Job Summary

Salem Media Group, a leading media company, is seeking a skilled Video Producer/Booker to join our team in Dallas. As a Video Producer/Booker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for our Salem News Channel shows and related content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book and coordinate with guests for daily shows
  • Assist in editing and tracking show assets for production
  • Research, script writing, proofreading, and pitching topics
  • Act as a technical director, framing camera shots, and ensuring show elements are loaded and ready for playback
  • Set up the production switcher for the current show, check video routes, and format cards for record
  • Ensure all control room positions are staffed
  • Post-show responsibilities include ensuring show files make it to the editor, choosing and cutting clips for social media, and assisting the show producer with any remaining tasks

Requirements

  • Management experience preferred
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Comfortable working in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
  • A general knowledge of production playback systems is a plus
