About the Role

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, HCP PrEP Market Expansion. As a key member of our fast-paced and collaborative team, you will play a critical role in driving awareness, knowledge, and adoption of PrEP as a preventative health measure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify and engage non-PrEP writing healthcare providers for market development and expansion.
  • Lead insights generation and analysis to understand the drivers and barriers to PrEP adoption among non-PrEP writing healthcare providers.
  • Design and execute unbranded campaigns and educational content for US healthcare providers, including imagery, messaging, materials, tactics, and channel mix.
  • Provide direction and guidance to field staff as needed.
  • Drive tactical planning and integration of unbranded campaigns and educational content.
  • Explore novel healthcare provider channel development and partner with internal stakeholders to build appropriate systems and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to Launch Readiness Reviews, timing, coordination, and execution for healthcare provider work.
  • Partner closely with L4P and D4P brand leads to ensure synergy and separation between work.
  • Manage AOR to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of strategy and tactics.
  • Partner with Reg, Legal, Medical, II&D, MM, Global, and PrEP HCP Marketing teams.
  • Partner with the Prevention Marketing Team to coordinate omnichannel engagement and implement HCP strategies and tactics.
  • Partner with Gilead Digital Strategy Operations and Media and Creative Agency Partners to operationalize Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to pilot new ideas to reach and engage healthcare providers in innovative ways that drive business results.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to key internal stakeholders and external audiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience
  • Masters' Degree and Ten Years' Experience
  • PhD and Eight Years' Experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Previous experience in marketing, market research, and/or pharmaceutical sales developing markets
  • Expert understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team and in leading teams
  • Strong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • MBA or other advanced business degree is desired
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in franchise-specific market is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years in product marketing or advertising in the pharma/healthcare space is preferred
  • Experience with content management systems a plus
  • Managed Markets knowledge preferred
  • Previous pharmaceutical/biotech or related field sales or sales management experience is preferred
  • Previous experience with HCP delivered injectable products and/or prevention based therapeutic areas preferred
