Position Overview:

This role is primarily focused on development, emphasizing configurations over traditional coding.

We are in search of a Senior Identity Engineer to become a vital part of our Information Security division. The key responsibility of this role is to design, integrate, and implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions tailored for diverse business units, personnel, and clientele across various locations. This position will oversee the suite of IAM products and engage in multiple ongoing development and enhancement projects, as well as application onboarding initiatives to support emerging business opportunities. Collaboration with application developers and vendors will be essential to build, configure, test, and deploy IAM solutions that align with the enterprise's business requirements and IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate ForgeRock solutions with both internal and external applications for automated provisioning, access request management, and custom workflows.
  • Architect, implement, and engineer IAM solutions utilizing ForgeRock Identity Cloud technology.
  • Administer IdentityIQ, including application onboarding and launching access certification campaigns.
  • Design and develop processes for provisioning and de-provisioning user accounts across various systems.
  • Configure and develop connectors and adapters for account management across different databases and systems.
  • Collaborate with business and application teams to address User Lifecycle Management provisioning needs.
  • Establish access control roles for applications to ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
  • Work alongside Information Security and Compliance teams to facilitate auditing and reporting processes.
  • Coordinate with Operations to integrate and deploy new technologies within existing environments.
  • Engage with Enterprise Architecture and Business teams to explore new IAM opportunities and enhance capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide technical support and development for IAM, including monitoring server events, ensuring data replication, and performing maintenance in collaboration with Level 2 and Level 3 operations teams.
  • Manage existing IAM infrastructure and deliver Level 2/3 support, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with help desk teams as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • J2EE Certification and/or CISSP certification are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience with ForgeRock Identity Cloud or similar Identity Management systems.
  • At least 4 years' experience with programming languages such as Java, middleware technologies (web services, SOAP/XML, REST), SQL DBMS, Active Directory, and LDAP/Directory Server design.
  • Experience in software installation and setup on both Windows and Unix platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements for access governance.
  • Proven experience managing complex directory services and IAM environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient scripting and programming skills, including shell/Perl and LDAP API interfacing.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Access Request forms/workflows and managing user access provisioning and de-provisioning.
  • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies for production processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify solutions in urgent situations.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and business personnel across the organization.
