Part-Time Cleaning Specialist

Moog Industrial Group is a leader in providing high-performance motion control solutions across various sectors including aerospace, automotive, and energy. We are currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaning Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview

This role is designed for part-time employment, requiring 20-35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Collect and dispose of waste from offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Ensure restrooms are serviced, cleaned, and stocked appropriately.
  • Polish and clean furniture and fixtures to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Dust surfaces including furniture, walls, and equipment.
  • Operate large floor scrubbers for effective cleaning of manufacturing areas.
  • Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or other chemicals as per guidelines.
  • Shampoo carpets and perform steam cleaning as required.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors to uphold quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Assist in moving heavy items as necessary.
  • Clear snow from sidewalks to ensure safe access.
  • Recommend necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Set up and dismantle facilities for events and meetings.
  • Adapt work hours for special cleaning projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is advantageous.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Understanding of cleaning tools and chemicals is essential.
  • Ability to safely handle various cleaning agents.
  • Proven attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
