Part-Time Cleaning Specialist

Moog Industrial Group is a leader in high-performance motion control products and solutions across various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, and energy. We are currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaning Specialist to join our team.

Position Overview

This role is part-time, requiring 20-35 hours per week, and involves maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  2. Collect and dispose of waste from offices, restrooms, and common areas.
  3. Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
  4. Polish and clean furniture and fixtures.
  5. Wash windows and glass surfaces using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  6. Dust surfaces, including furniture, walls, and equipment.
  7. Operate large floor scrubbers for industrial cleaning.
  8. Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or other chemicals.
  9. Shampoo carpets and steam-clean as necessary.
  10. Strip, seal, and polish floors to maintain their appearance.
  11. Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  12. Assist in moving heavy items as needed.
  13. Clear snow from walkways during winter months.
  14. Suggest necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
  15. Prepare facilities for events by setting up and removing furniture.
  16. Adapt work hours for special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, although not mandatory. Previous experience in cleaning roles is advantageous, particularly in industrial settings. Candidates should possess:

  • A solid understanding of cleaning tools and chemicals.
  • The ability to safely handle various cleaning agents.
  • A commitment to performing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
