About the Job

The Arc Eastern Connecticut is seeking a skilled Caregiver Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver training, support, and assistance to participants in areas such as personal care, recreation, daily living skills, social skills, health needs, and behavior management.
  • Participate in designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized support plans to ensure optimal independence.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately, complete required documentation, and ensure participants' health and safety at all times.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with people who have developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Basic computer aptitude and English language proficiency are essential.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting hourly rate: $18.30 per hour.
  • Dental insurance, employee assistance program, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, and 11 recognized holidays off per year.
