Shift Details: This role is designated for the third shift.

Position Summary:

The Fulfillment Center Supervisor is responsible for managing warehouse operations, including overseeing the tasks of team members engaged in order fulfillment and returns processing. Candidates must be available for shifts from 7 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts for overtime. Typical shifts last 8 hours across a 5-day workweek. This role reports directly to the Fulfillment Center Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily activities and performance of Warehouse Associates.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager by developing operational procedures, creating work schedules, monitoring attendance, and optimizing workflow.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Assist team members in resolving operational challenges.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members while fostering the development of existing staff.
  • Prepare daily reports and analyses to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Engage in quarterly performance evaluations, providing coaching and feedback as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other supervisors to manage workflow and address issues promptly.
  • Perform the duties of the Warehouse Manager when required.
  • Independently manage the opening and closing of the warehouse as needed, adapting hours based on operational demands.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The role requires the employee to be on their feet and actively walking for the majority of the shift. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees should be comfortable lifting and moving items overhead and using a small step ladder.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Education and Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer technology, preferably Apple products.
  • Familiarity with Google applications (Drive, Gmail, Sheets, and Docs) or Microsoft Office.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead in a professional manner while managing conflicts.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strategic planning skills for output capacity and resource utilization.
