Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Oncology ICU CNC to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse in TX or holds a compact license
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 1+ years of Applicable experience
