Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Oncology ICU at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating nursing services, and supporting the overall mission of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Support patient-centered care by engaging in service recovery and addressing patient concerns.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and labor management to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Support inventory control and supply management to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in Texas or compact licensure.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • At least one year of applicable experience.
