The Account Manager is responsible for selling and ordering product for customer accounts. This role is responsible for rotating company product by date, both out in the market and in inventory. The Account Manager will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure products are stocked and available onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Orders product at accounts on an assigned sales route, determining product needs and placing and transmitting appropriate orders for each one.
- Executes and sells big event marketing, pillar programming, innovation, and mandated features and ad activity to ensure customer satisfaction and company standards are being met.
- Builds, changes, and removes product displays and POS (Point of Sale), ensuring proper pricing and maintaining a clean and organized product space.
- Communicates account activities with the customer to ensure quality and timely service, working with and collaborating internally with merchandisers and drivers.
- Ensures consistent adherence to merchandising and customer service standards, stocking and merchandising products in the allocated beverage section.
- Maintains end-to-end ownership of the account through appropriate action and/or communication.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of work experience required, with customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets preferred.
- Basic computer application and technology skills required, as well as a valid Driver's License and current vehicle liability insurance.
- This position requires the use of a personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement, and proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire.
- Must be open to a flexible schedule, including working some holidays to meet customer demands.
