Practice Area Specialist

This position plays a crucial role in creating preference and driving active-users in law schools and law firms within an assigned territory. The successful candidate will assess customer needs, develop tailored business plans, and promote the benefits of LexisNexis products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a consultative salesperson to support law school and law firm customers in increasing active users.
- Engage with various stakeholders at law schools and law firms, including students, faculty, associates, partners, librarians, and leadership.
- Develop strategic account plans that cater to the unique needs of each law school and law firm.
- Manage law school accounts independently and collaborate with law firm client managers to drive business growth.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of LexisNexis products, content, or practice areas, serving as an internal resource for sales, marketing, and segment teams.
- Prepare and deliver customized presentations to communicate the value proposition and differentiators of LexisNexis solutions.
- Conduct research, analyze findings, and share insights with product, segment, and marketing teams to inform business decisions.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff at law schools and partners.
- Hold a Juris Doctor degree; State Bar membership is preferred.
- Possess experience in legal practice, training, or sales.
- Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a proven track record of developing and executing account plans, coordinating stakeholders, and driving positive client outcomes.
- Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities, a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledge.
- Be able to travel based on client and business needs.
