Job Title: Technical Sales Lead

Job Summary:

The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a seasoned Technical Sales Lead to drive revenue growth and expand the Cloud and Data Center Practice Area's footprint in the government contracting space. As a key member of the practice area leadership team, you will define and execute the technical sales strategy, fostering strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that our repeatable offerings meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your deep technical knowledge and proven success selling Cloud and Data Center products, services, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with practice area leadership, Leidos Office of Technology (OOT) leaders, and other stakeholders to drive thought leadership and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including conducting regular client engagements, holding pipeline reviews, and developing and executing sales plans.
  • Apply technical expertise to identify and recommend applications within cloud and data center solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Communicate with internal and external parties to drive awareness of the most recent technical capabilities and repeatable offerings being developed by the practice area.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years' experience in sales or business development, with a demonstrated history of tailoring solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Extensive experience in managing and leading all phases of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively conveying the value propositions and benefits of the practice area's repeatable offerings.
  • Strong dedication to understanding customer needs and preferences, ensuring solutions align closely with their strategic objectives and deliver tangible business outcomes.

Pay Range: $131,237,350.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
