Job Summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our Policy and Strategy team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to develop insights about student success through data, research, and policy analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Conduct data analyses about enrollment and success trends or the impact of system initiatives on student success at TBR colleges.
  • Research Reporting: Write reports, create presentations, and present research findings for the Policy & Strategy division.
  • Event Support: Attend and assist staff at TBR meetings and events.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Data Analysis Experience: Familiarity with data analysis or education policy is essential.
  • Graduate Classes: Graduate classes in education policy or data analysis are preferred.
  • Policy and Research Experience: Experience with policy and research studies is preferred.
  • Higher Education Policy Interest: An interest in higher education policy is essential.
Skills and Abilities
  • Collaboration: Professional, trustworthy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis or willingness to expand skill set with data analysis software.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
