Dean Rusk Fellow

As a Dean Rusk Fellow, you will play a key role in supporting the development of international studies programs and initiatives at Davidson College. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising students on submitting strong Dean Rusk grant proposals
  • Attending evening programming events for the DRISP, including greeting guests, taking photos, and assisting with technology set-up needs for speakers
  • Developing international internship opportunities for Dean Rusk
  • Assisting with developing programs and events, both virtual and in-person
  • Working directly with the Dean Rusk Director and assisting with projects and tasks
Requirements
  • Must be a member of the Davidson Class of 2023 or a recent graduate who has been out of school for no more than two years
  • Strong desire to support International Studies programs and initiatives
  • Proficiency with computer skills (Google and MS Office, Internet, social media, HTML) desired
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • A former recipient of a Dean Rusk grant for service, experiential, or research
  • Experience with a semester or year abroad
