Dean Rusk Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Dean Rusk Fellow at Davidson College. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to students, faculty, and staff in the development and implementation of international programs and events.

• Advisor to Students: Assist students in submitting strong grant proposals for the Dean Rusk program, providing guidance and support throughout the application process.
• Event Support: Attend evening programming events for the Dean Rusk International Studies Program, greeting guests, taking photos, and assisting with technology setup needs for speakers.
• International Internship Development: Develop and secure international internship opportunities for Dean Rusk students, fostering global engagement and experiential learning.
• Program Development: Collaborate with the Dean Rusk Director to develop and implement programs and events, both virtual and in-person, that promote international studies and global understanding.
• Project Support: Work closely with the Dean Rusk Director to assist with various projects and tasks, providing administrative and logistical support as needed.
• Eligibility: Must be a member of the Davidson Class of 2023 or a recent graduate who has been out of school for no more than two years.
• Desired Qualifications: Strong desire to support international studies programs and initiatives, proficiency with computer skills (Google and MS Office, Internet, social media, HTML) desired, strong organization and communication skills, and a former recipient of a Dean Rusk grant for service, experiential, or research.
