Capitol Language Services is an independent organization dedicated to providing high-quality educational programs for children. Our main office is located in the DC NW area, near Tenleytown, and we operate afterschool programs in the Northwest and Southeast areas.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR and Program Coordinator to join our team in Washington D.C. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our human resources team and support our afterschool programs in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the executive office in the morning, providing administrative assistance to the human resources team.
  • Assist with the preparation of the performance review process and track candidate status in the HRIS.
  • Implement and carry out all CLS policies and procedures, reporting any discrepancies to the executive office.
  • Support the daily operations of the various afterschool programs by filling in for instructors and coordinators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least one year of office experience.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
