Position Overview

The Senior Technical Project Manager for LabVantage LIMS will collaborate closely with the Director of Digital LIMS Systems to facilitate the deployment of innovative solutions and enhance existing systems within the Moderna Digital Laboratory Systems division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee projects aimed at optimizing functional, technical, and developmental aspects of the digital ecosystem supporting Quality Control laboratories.
  • Serve as the Technical Project Manager for the integration of LabVantage LIMS with external systems.
  • Manage fast-paced projects, ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Provide leadership and architectural expertise in large cross-functional initiatives.
  • Identify, propose, and implement continuous improvement projects within the Lab Systems.
  • Deliver projects and initiatives independently, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and address issues as they arise.
  • Engage in the demand management process to assist in establishing business cases for new systems or modifications.
  • Author and review essential documentation such as System Configuration Specifications and System Administration SOPs, and execute test scripts in compliance with cGxP.
  • Collaborate with the Lab Automation team to integrate standalone systems with LIMS.
  • Assist in evaluating product enhancements and capabilities, implementing necessary upgrades.
  • Support risk assessments and testing activities for initial and routine system upgrades.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and maintaining laboratory systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience with LabVantage LIMS and Application Integration.
  • Experience with instrument integration into LabVantage LIMS.
  • Proficient in authoring and reviewing computer system validation lifecycle documents.
  • Solid understanding of cGMP and manufacturing operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • A compliance-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with computer systems validation practices (GAMP).
  • Experience in a matrixed work environment.
