Senior LIMS Project Manager

The Senior Technical Project Manager for LabVantage LIMS will collaborate closely with the Director of Digital LIMS Systems to facilitate the deployment of innovative solutions and enhance existing systems within the Moderna Digital Laboratory Systems framework.
Key Responsibilities- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing functional, technical, and developmental aspects of the digital environment supporting Quality Control laboratories.
- Serve as the Technical Project Manager overseeing the integration of LabVantage LIMS with external platforms.
- Manage fast-paced projects, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Provide strategic leadership and architectural expertise in large-scale cross-functional projects.
- Propose, lead, and execute small to medium-sized continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory systems.
- Independently manage projects and initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Identify potential risks and proactively address issues.
- Engage in the demand management process to assist in developing business cases for new systems or modifications.
- Draft System Configuration Specifications and System Administration Standard Operating Procedures, and execute test scripts in compliance with cGxP standards.
- Author, review, and approve lifecycle documentation, including impact assessments and regulatory applicability.
- Collaborate with the Lab Automation team to connect standalone systems with LIMS.
- Assist in evaluating product enhancements and capabilities, implementing necessary upgrades.
- Support initial and routine system risk assessments and testing activities.
A bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a related discipline is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and maintaining laboratory systems is essential, with at least 5 years specifically focused on LabVantage LIMS and application integration. Experience with instrument integration to LabVantage LIMS is also required.
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with cGMP and manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of computer systems validation practices (GAMP).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
