This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility to work remotely as well as from our office.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $103,000 to $118,000 annually, subject to variation based on qualifications, experience, and market alignment. This role is also eligible for participation in annual incentive plans, which may include discretionary bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will deliver defined benefit administrative calculations and consulting services directly to clients. Your role will significantly impact clients' understanding of their pension plans and assist them in achieving their retirement objectives. The selected candidate will lead a team that manages defined benefit administrative services for numerous clients using proprietary software.
Daily Duties Include:
- Client Service Management: Provide guidance on special projects, including nonstandard benefit calculations and administrative requests.
- Oversee benefit plan administration and manage special projects related to defined benefit plans.
- Understand client contract components and identify out-of-scope work.
- Ensure compliance with established measures for calculation turnaround and client communication.
- Maintain quality control of pension calculation systems.
- Stay informed about client-specific plan provisions.
- Enhance knowledge of defined benefit administration regulations.
- Manage client databases and benefit calculation logs.
- Assist in developing project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Analyze plan provisions and perform benefit calculations.
- Respond to inquiries from members and facilitate requests.
- Coordinate monthly pension payments with trustees.
- Advise employees on pension plan provisions and payment options.
Colleague Development
- Exemplify firm values and provide positive and constructive feedback.
- Mentor colleagues on plan-specific issues and technical skills.
- Assist in equitable distribution of work among team members.
- Support pension implementation by setting up and testing proprietary software for new clients.
- Help develop plan administrator documentation and customize employee communication materials.
Qualifications for Success:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in pension and defined benefit plan administration.
- Proven skills in project management, client consulting, and team leadership.
- Ability to review legal documentation and communicate regulatory changes to clients.
- Consulting experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of pension formulas is required.
