Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of specific clients, assisting with implementations, leading special projects, and delegating work among colleagues within a project.
  • Acting as a mentor and role model for colleagues working on clients, mentoring new colleagues, and providing formal team training.
  • Assisting with the set-up and testing of proprietary software for new clients according to plan provisions and administrative requirements.
  • Developing plan administrator documents and customizing employee communication materials.
  • Coordinating monthly pension payments with trustees and advising employees on pension plan provisions and payment elections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ years of experience working with pension, defined benefit plans, and administration.
  • Proven project management, client consulting, and team management skills.
  • Review of legal documentation and ability to communicate effectively any new rules or regulations to clients.
  • Consulting background highly preferred.
  • Pension formula knowledge required.
