Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of specific clients, assisting with implementations, leading special projects, and delegating work among colleagues within a project.
- Acting as a mentor and role model for colleagues working on clients, mentoring new colleagues, and providing formal team training.
- Assisting with the set-up and testing of proprietary software for new clients according to plan provisions and administrative requirements.
- Developing plan administrator documents and customizing employee communication materials.
- Coordinating monthly pension payments with trustees and advising employees on pension plan provisions and payment elections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of experience working with pension, defined benefit plans, and administration.
- Proven project management, client consulting, and team management skills.
- Review of legal documentation and ability to communicate effectively any new rules or regulations to clients.
- Consulting background highly preferred.
- Pension formula knowledge required.
