Actuarial Internship Opportunity

Aon invites intellectually curious rising college seniors with a passion for problem-solving to join our 10-week paid internship program in our Actuarial business area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crafting projections of long-term financial information for pension and other post-retirement benefit plans
  • Coordination of asset-liability analysis and due-diligence of M&A activities
  • Design and costing of new retirement programs
  • Programming of innovative pension admin systems
  • Pension benefits calculations and union negotiation strategies
  • Quantitative comparison of comprehensive employee benefit programs for groups of employers
Actuarial Business Areas
  • Retirement Consulting: Assessing the costs associated with pension and retirement plans
  • Health and Benefits (H&B) Consulting: Developing welfare benefit strategies for employers
  • Risk Consulting: Assessing exposure to P&C risk and providing actuarial opinions for regulatory support
  • Reinsurance Actuarial Consulting: Providing risk transfer, claims advocacy, and capital management solutions

Requirements
  • Rising seniors graduating between December 2025 and June 2026 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Have passed at least one actuarial exam, preferred
  • Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related
