About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our team at Johnstone Supply. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and contributing to the growth and profitability of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent, professional customer service to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Multi-task and maintain focus while prioritizing the needs of several customers at once.
  • Diagnose and rectify problems, and provide solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Apply effective sales strategies and techniques to meet sales targets and grow our business.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and a positive, friendly demeanor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D and minimum of two years related experience and/or training in the HVAC/R industry; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: 2 years experience as a Sales and Service Associate in the HVAC/R or similar industry.
Physical Demands

The employee is required to stand and walk on a hard surface for the majority of the workday. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and carry and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally required to lift up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment

The work environment is a medium to large store with shelves and bins. Most work is performed with telephone, material handling equipment, computer, fax, printer and in some cases an RF scanner.
