Job Title: Earned Value Management System Specialist

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors is seeking a highly skilled Earned Value Management System Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad, NM. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and compliant completion of EVMS deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the proper execution of baseline change control and systems integration of EVMS key elements.
  • Verify that EV projects are implemented and maintained as approved.
  • Participate with project controls from inception to completion to ensure prerequisite requirements for proper systems integration and EVMS principles are clearly defined and communicated.
  • Escalate compliance issues for resolution.
  • Present and provide insight from an EVM Systems perspective in layman's terms to senior management and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of related experience, or Associate's degree with 19 years of related experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalency with 23 years of related experience.
  • Previous EVM experience.
  • Experience within a DOE 413.3B environment.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/EIA 748 Requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software, including configuration and management of enterprise features and data.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing and maintaining project cost processors in an earned value management systems environment.
  • Surveillance and Audit experience from a systems standpoint of an earned value management system environment.
  • Proactively self-initiate a continuously updated knowledge base of current EVMS methodologies, systems, and emerging practices.
  • Ability to use these current practices to drive effective results.
